Sikandar Day 2 Box Office Collection: Salman Khan’s Film Struggles Despite Eid Boost
Salman Khan’s Sikandar sees a jump in collections on Day 2, earning ₹36.50 crore. Despite the Eid boost, mixed reviews raise concerns about its long-term success.

On October 29, 2023, the cast and crew of Sikandar packed their bags after exhibiting a similar rush on the box receipts for Day 2 following the Eid holidays. The movie collected approximately ₹36.50 crore on Day 2, raising its total net collections to about ₹66.50 crore.
The main surge was due to the great Khan's universal pulling power, which has dimmed in recent years in drawing audiences, if not particularly with much-welcomed reviews. Add in the festivities of Eid, but its sustained run seems doubtful because of the onslaught of criticism. Whatever the case, Khan looks set to have his 17th bypassing ₹100 crore straight-from-the-oven hit since Dabangg in 2010.
Chhaava opened with ₹31 crore, with Sikandar's second-day earnings of ₹26 crore. This indicates a fierce competition at the box office, with Sikandar being much dependent on Khan's fan following and on festival releases to keep it going
The movie's sustainability beyond its holiday opening is key for future success. Although this number is very promising, only time will tell whether Sikandar will be able to transcend the critical reviews and become a prolonged success at the box office.
