Hyderabad to Host Miss World 2025 Grand Finale at HITEX

Hyderabad is all set to dazzle on the global stage as it hosts the 72nd Miss World pageant, with the grand finale scheduled for May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre. The city, known for its rich heritage and modern charm, will witness the reigning Miss World, Krystyna Pyszková, crown her successor in a glittering ceremony that promises glamor, culture, and international attention.

A Month-Long Celebration

The celebrations officially began on May 10 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, where the opening ceremony was held in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Over 107 contestants from around the world are participating, experiencing everything from Telangana’s cultural heritage to India’s booming medical tourism industry.

Key Events Leading to the Finale

One of the key highlights so far has been the Sports Challenge, held on May 17, where Miss Estonia Eliise Randmaa made history by winning the challenge, securing her place in the Top 40.

Contestants have also enjoyed immersive tours of the Old City, visiting landmarks like Charminar and Laad Bazaar. The cultural tours have added a uniquely Indian touch to the international event.

Promoting Medical Tourism

As part of the itinerary, the contestants also visited AIG Hospitals, emphasizing Hyderabad’s growing role in global medical tourism. The event aimed to promote the city not just as a cultural capital but also as a hub for advanced healthcare.
