Tata Motors has released its sales figures for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025 (Q4 FY25), reporting a total of 252,642 units sold, marking a 5% decrease compared to the 265,090 units sold in Q4 FY24. 

Passenger Vehicles (PV):

  • Total Sales: 146,999 units, down 6% year-on-year (YoY).

  • Domestic Sales: 146,127 units, a 6% decrease from the same period last year.

  • International Business (IB): 872 units, reflecting a 36% increase YoY. 

Commercial Vehicles (CV):

  • Total Sales: 105,643 units, a 3% decline YoY.

  • Domestic Sales: 99,764 units, down 5% from Q4 FY24.

  • International Business (IB): 5,879 units, showing a 30% increase YoY. 

Electric Vehicles (EV):

  • Total Sales (Domestic + IB): 15,936 units in Q4 FY25, representing a 23% decrease compared to 20,640 units in Q4 FY24. 

For the full fiscal year 2025 (FY25), Tata Motors' total sales stood at 912,155 units, a 4% decline from 949,015 units in FY24. 

In March 2025, the company's domestic sales were 90,500 units, a slight decrease from 90,822 units in March 2024. 

These figures indicate a challenging quarter for Tata Motors, with declines observed across most segments, particularly in passenger and electric vehicles. However, the company experienced growth in its international business for both passenger and commercial vehicles.
