Air India Introduces In-Flight Wi-Fi on Select Domestic Flights

New Delhi, February 24, 2025 – In a major step toward enhancing passenger experience, Air India has officially introduced in-flight Wi-Fi on select domestic routes, allowing travelers to stay connected at 35,000 feet. The service is currently available on specific Airbus A321neo and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with plans to expand coverage to more flights in the coming months.

Wi-Fi Services and Features

Passengers can now enjoy seamless internet connectivity while flying, enabling them to:

✅ Stream entertainment content
✅ Stay active on social media

The airline is offering two types of Wi-Fi plans:

  • Basic Plan: Free access for messaging apps like WhatsApp and iMessage
  • Premium Plan: High-speed internet for browsing, streaming, and VPN access (available at an additional cost)

Routes Covered

As of now, Air India's in-flight Wi-Fi is available on select routes, including:

✈ Bengaluru – Hyderabad
✈ Chennai – Kolkata
✈ Mumbai – Bengaluru

The service will gradually be expanded to cover more flights and aircraft types.
