Actor Allu Arjun was arrested today, December 13, 2024, in connection with a tragic stampede that occurred at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2. The incident on December 4 resulted in the death of a 39-year-old woman, Revathi, and injuries to her 8-year-old son. The stampede allegedly occurred due to crowd mismanagement and negligence by the actor's security team and the theatre's staff​

A case was filed against Allu Arjun and others, citing sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to negligence causing harm.
