5.0-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Guwahati, Assam – Tremors Felt Across Region

At 2:25 a.m. in the early hours of February 27, 2025, a 5.0-magnitude earthquake occurred in Assam's Morigaon district. Tremors were experienced in Guwahati and nearby areas. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) indicated the depth of the quake at 16 kilometers.
