Game Changer Review: Shankar Film Shines in Parts while Ram Charan Steals the Show
'Game Changer,' review the 2025 political action thriller directed by S. Shankar, starring Ram Charan in dual roles and Kiara Advani. Released on January 10, 2025, this film delves into themes of power and corruption.

The much awaited 4 years in the making, 450 crores high budget Shanker directorial Game Changer starring Ram Charan along with the ensemble of cast that includes SJ Suryah, Anjali, Sunil, Kiara Advani, Srikanth hits theatres today worldwide in 5 languages and 6 formats on the occasion of Makar Sankranthi.
Game Changer visibly avoids the weight of a wannabe Pan-India movie with unnecessary showy elevations right from the first scene unlike Pushpa or KGF, even being Ram Charan’s film after RRR and the director being Shankar. This offers everything that a regional commercial film could. And the price is predictable — this follows the same old Shankar template with sprinkles of cringe moments. But still, the dare to not have a flashy style and stick to the material is actually impressive and they did succeed. This is engaging, informative, and racy.
Plotline - Ram Nandan, an IAS officer with anger issues strives to combat corrupt politicians, including the CM Bobbili Mopidevi for destroying his father Appanna's dream of a corruption-free country.
The plus points of the film are Ram Charan’s performance, Thaman’s music, screenplay and cinematography in key scenes. Minus points include storyline, comedy moments, songs.
