On December 22, 2024, Telugu actor Allu Arjun's residence in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills was attacked by protesters identifying as members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU JAC).

The protest stemmed from a tragic event on December 4, during the premiere of Allu Arjun's film Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The actor's presence led to a massive crowd, resulting in a stampede that caused the death of a 35-year-old woman named Revathi and left her young son critically injured.

The protesters gathered outside Allu Arjun's home, holding placards and chanting slogans. They threw stones and tomatoes, causing damage to property, including breaking flower pots. Their primary demand was for the actor to provide financial assistance of ₹1 crore to Revathi's family, given the success of his film.

One protester stated, "We demand that Allu Arjun take care of the late Revathi’s family... This is the time for them to stand behind Revathi’s family and be there for Sri Teja."

It remains unclear if Allu Arjun was present during the attack. Reports indicate that his staff relocated his children, Arha and Ayaan, to their maternal uncle's home for safety. Police intervened promptly, arresting eight individuals involved in the vandalism.

Allu Arjun's father, Allu Arvind reacted about the incident

This incident adds to the challenges faced by Allu Arjun following the stampede. He was previously arrested on December 13 in connection with the tragedy and released on interim bail the following day. The actor has maintained that he was unaware of the fatality during the event, a claim contested by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and local police, who assert that he was informed while still at the theatre.

The situation remains tense, with public scrutiny on Allu Arjun's actions concerning the victim's family and the broader implications of fan management during high-profile events.
