South Korean Actress Kim Sae-ron Passes Away at 24

South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron was found deceased at her residence in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on February 16, 2025. She was 24 years old. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death; however, no signs of foul play have been reported. 

Kim began her acting career at the age of nine, gaining recognition for her roles in films such as "A Brand New Life" and "The Man From Nowhere." She later appeared in Netflix series including "Love Playlist" and "Bloodhounds." 

In May 2022, Kim was involved in a DUI incident in Seoul's Gangnam District, leading to property damage and subsequent legal issues. This event significantly impacted her career and personal life. 

Despite these challenges, her final film, "Guitar Man," is scheduled for release in May 2025. The director of the film expressed deep sadness over her passing.
