Nitish Kumar Reddy hits 50 during the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia, he achieved his maiden Test half-century, celebrating with a gesture "Jukhega Nahi" inspired by the Allu Arjun starrer "Pushpa" that has been making news lately. 

Former Chief Selector MSK Prasad initially critiqued Reddy's role in the Indian team, suggesting that his status as an all-rounder might be causing confusion and advocating for the inclusion of specialist players. 

However, following Reddy's consistent performances, Prasad revised his stance, acknowledging Reddy's significant contributions and highlighting his impressive domestic cricket record, including scoring 1,200 runs in a single season and a remarkable 400-run innings. 

Reddy's recent achievements have sparked discussions about his potential promotion in the batting order, reflecting his growing importance to the team.
