Shivarajkumar underwent surgery at the Miami Cancer Institute in Florida, where his cancerous bladder was removed and replaced with an artificial one constructed from his intestine. The procedure, performed by Dr. Murugesh Manoharan, was successful, and the actor is now in stable condition.
In a video shared on social media, Shivarajkumar candidly discussed his experience, acknowledging the fear he faced before and during treatment. He credited his wife, Geetha, his family, and his fans for providing the strength needed to endure chemotherapy and surgery. He stated, "I was scared even before, but fans, relatives, co-artists, and doctors—especially Dr. Shashidhar who treated me, and nurses—made me strong."
Geetha Shivarajkumar also shared her relief and gratitude, confirming that all medical reports have returned negative, officially declaring Shivarajkumar cancer-free. She emphasized that his recovery was bolstered by the blessings and support of fans and well-wishers.
The 62-year-old actor, known for his dynamic performances in the Kannada film industry, assured his audience that he plans to return to his professional commitments with renewed vigor. He mentioned that, following a period of rest as advised by his doctors, he anticipates resuming work by March. He expressed, "I will be back... Shivanna will be back with double power, be it in dancing, fighting, or looks."
